Esports Betting Market Types
On the zay777 Esports platform, you can bet on a single match in different ways. Each market displays odds, and understanding how those odds work is one of the key factors for success.
| Market Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Match Winner | Bet on which team you think will win a match. This is the most common market in Esports. |
| Map / Game Handicap | A handicap is applied to one side to balance the gap between two teams. For example, you can bet on Team A to win with a -1.5 Maps handicap. |
| Total Maps Over/Under | Choose Over or Under on the number of maps to be played in a match and place your bet. |
| First Blood / First Objective | Predict which team will get the first kill or destroy the first Tower/Baron in the match. |
| Live In-Play Betting | Bet in real time while the match is live and odds are changing. The fastest and most engaging way to bet. |
| Tournament Outright | Before an entire tournament begins, bet on which team you predict will win the whole thing. |
How to Read Esports Odds
Odds represent the probability of an outcome as a number. The zay777 Esports platform uses Decimal Odds format (e.g. 2.50).
What Are Decimal Odds
If Team A's odds are 2.50, multiply your stake of 10,000 Ks by 2.5 to get 25,000 Ks (profit of 15,000 Ks). Higher odds mean a lower chance of winning but a larger payout.
Favourite and Underdog
The team with lower odds is the Favourite (higher chance of winning), while the team with higher odds is the Underdog (lower chance of winning). If the Underdog wins, the payout is higher.
Live Odds Movement
In In-Play Betting, odds change in real time during the match. Following in-play events closely and placing your bet at the right moment gives you a better chance of winning.
